The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. is a professional organization of teachers dedicated to the task of training youth of America to cope satisfactorily and effectively with today’s problems.  Since its inception, the aims established by the Founders have been the goals adopted by chapters throughout the country.  They are:

·           To Foster True Spirit of Sisterhood.

·           To promote the Highest Ideals of the Teaching Profession.

·           To Encourage the Development of the Potential of Our Youth.


Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. has enjoyed a most inspired and inspiring leadership since the days of Dr. Gladys Merritt Ross’ presidency of Alpha Chapter and then the National Sorority to the present day.  The roots of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. are more than 80 years deep.  We take pride in what has been accomplished and will not become satisfied.
